The extension of the contracts of former navigators is not technically possible.
This was stated in a note by the Ministry of Labor.
"In relation to the press reports circulated in these hours relating to the extension of the former navigators, which expired on October 31st - reads the press release - it is specified that these contracts cannot be extended. Instead, a mere reconnaissance activity among the Regions was started. Any further use of the former navigators - the note continues - would require the approval of a specific regulation, not being studied by the Ministry ".
