(ANSA) - PARIS, NOV 4 - Amnesty International fears that at least 10 people, including children, were killed in Iran today after security forces opened fire on demonstrators in the south-eastern province of Sistan-Baluchistan.
Protests erupted after Friday prayers in the provincial capital of Zahedan, but also in other areas of the province, including the city of Khash to the south.
Amnesty accused the security forces of firing "live bullets" from the roofs of Khash's official buildings.
"The pressure is feared to have caused the deaths of at least 10 people, including children," Amnesty added.
