Saturday 5 November at the start of the Next Generation Fest, from 10 to 23 at the Teatro del Maggio in Florence.
The event is dedicated to the new generations.
Key themes of the event Europe, innovation, digital, sustainability, creativity, inclusion and citizenship seen through the eyes of Generation Z.
From the TV face Paolo Bonolis to the videomaker / director / youtuber Luis Sal, from the conductor Nicolò De Devitiis to the sports Larissa Iapichino and Ambra Sabatini, from the writer Stefano Massini to the stylist and entrepreneur Brunello Cucinelli, and again the musician Matteo Romano, the graphic journalist Takoua Ben Mohamed, the creators Wikipedro and Muriel, the actor Jonathan Canini, the singer-songwriter Ariete: these are some of the guests of Next Generation Fest, the first festival dedicated to Generation Z organized by the Tuscany Region and Giovanisì.
Among the institutional greetings, those sent by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, projected immediately after the intervention of the President of the Tuscany Region, Eugenio Giani, scheduled on stage at about 10.30.
Among the institutional greetings scheduled in the afternoon, those of the vice president of the European Parliament, Pina Picierno and Marija Gabriel, European Commissioner for innovation, research, culture, education and youth.
During the day, the protagonists of talks, inspirational speeches and live performances will alternate on stage with dozens of guests including youtubers, creators, musicians, sportsmen, entrepreneurs, startuppers.

Next Generation Fest is entirely funded by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (Department for youth policies and universal civil service) and promoted by the Presidency of the Tuscany Region and Giovanisì - the regional project for the autonomy of young people - in collaboration with the Fondazione Sistema Toscana and the Teatro del Maggio.
Inserted in the calendar of the European Year of Youth,
the event is promoted by the European Commission with the aim of enhancing the leadership and the desire for innovation of those born at the beginning of the millennium.
A stand area will also be set up at the Teatro del Maggio where regional, national and European bodies will give information to young people on the opportunities promoted, including those of the Next Generation EU program and the Giovanisì Project.
