“What a feeling, being's believin'…” Irène Cara's cult song, soundtrack to “Flashdance”, springs from a loudspeaker placed on the Folies Bergère stage.
The film released in 1983 will return as a musical at the Casino de Paris in January, eight years after a first tour.
No time to hang around recruiting artists for the show directed by Philippe Hersen.
To the sound of the music, 22 dancers and one dancer captured the movements to be performed in a few minutes.
“Don't hop, stay well on the ground when you move.
And go with your hands, touch your face well, don't just brush it, ”says Andie Masazza, who assists Cécile Chaduteau, the show's choreographer.
