When Carmelo La Bionda died, he invented the Italian record with his brother

Carmelo La Bionda, who with his brother Michelangelo, formed the musical duo 'La Bionda', also known by the artistic name DD (ANSA), died this morning 5 November in his home in San Donato, Milan.


(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 05 - Carmelo La Bionda died this morning in his home in San Donato, Milan, who with his brother Michelangelo formed the musical duo 'La Bionda', also known by the artistic name DD Sound and considered among inventors of Italian disco music.


    Born on February 2, 1949 in Ramacca, in the province of Catania, Milanese by adoption since 1954, Carmelo La Bionda was 73 years old with ivy sick for a year.

He had a tumor that he fought a lot.


   His son Francesco Paolo and his family announced it.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday 8 November at 2.30 pm at the church of Santa Barbara in San Donato in Milan.


   The La Bionda brothers have made entire generations dance, their great workhorse and still today a worldwide success is "One For You, One For Me".
