Sugar is an important supplier of energy.

However, if you feed your body too much sugar, it can cause enormous damage in the long term.

Do you eat too much too?

The basal metabolic rate determines how many calories you should consume each day.

Anyone who works all day in construction burns far more calories a day than an office worker who sits all day.

Accordingly, the meals should be adapted to individual needs.

High calorie foods are those that contain a lot of sugar.

If you only think of chocolate, sweet pastries from the bakery and pure industrial sugar, you will be disappointed.

Sugar is also found in many healthy foods.

100 grams of apples contain an average of 5.7 grams of fruit sugar (fructose).

Milk sugar (lactose) is also a natural type of sugar that supplies the body with energy.

In coffee, in desserts and also in the form of fruit: sugar is contained in many foods.
