(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, NOV 14 - The summit between American presidents Joe Biden and Chinese Xi Jinping has just ended.
This was reported by the Chinese media, according to which the confrontation lasted just over three hours, from 5.36pm to 8.48pm local time.
The US will continue to "compete" with China "vigorously" Biden told Xi, according to the White House.
The US president and the Chinese president spoke "in a very light way" about Taiwan, Ukraine and the economy, CasaBianca reported, adding that US secretary of state Antony Blinkensi will visit China soon.
Joe Biden also expressed to Xi Jinping the US opposition to Beijing's "aggressive and coercive" actions towards Taiwan and asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to encourage North Korea to act "responsibly".
