(ANSA) - BEIRUT, NOV 14 - The military coalition led by PKK in north-eastern Syria today denied any involvement in the attack in Istanbul.
This was quoted by the Syrian media as Mazlum Abdi, spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces at the head of the coalition, supported by the US, which dominates the north-east of Syria and which is hostile to Turkey.
"We assure us that we have no connection with the Istanbul explosion and we reject the accusations that have been made to us," Abdi said in reference to the allegations made by Ankara against the Syrian-based PKK.
Previously, the PKK in Turkey had also handed down responsibility.
