An explosion occurred in a gas pipeline in the Leningrad region, a few kilometers from St. Petersburg, firefighters are putting out the fire that broke out following the explosion between Berngardovka and Kovalevo," Governor Alexander Drozdenko said on Telegram, quoted by the Russian state news agency RIA novosti.
According to Drozdenko there is no threat to the population, no one was injured, at the moment the causes of the explosion are being ascertained. The pressure on the main gas pipeline has now been reduced.
