The Patrouille de France had crossed the skies of the Cannes Film Festival at the time of the presentation of "Top Gun: Maverick", last spring, hailing the performance of Tom Cruise in the hit film, which totaled more than six million entries on French soil.
The links between the military organization and the American actor, reputed to perform himself a large part of the stunts of the films in which he participates, will be further strengthened.
On the sidelines of the second edition of the Congress of Fighter Aviation, organized at Le Bourget this Friday, November 18, the Air Force has indeed announced that it has "recruited" Tom Cruise.
“A new honorary member has joined the community of French fighter pilots,” said General Stéphane Mille, Chief of Staff of the Air and Space Force, on Twitter on November 18.
“A new honorary member has joined the community of French fighter pilots.
