The New Orleans Pelicans returned to win, 126-117, last night against the increasingly disappointing (they are 14th, therefore penultimate, in the Western Conference) San Antonio Spurs.
Above all, CJ McCollum did well, author of 40 points, but in the Louisiana franchise, third in the Western Conference, the Lithuanian center Jonas also shone, in double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Now, in the West, the Pelicans are third (behind Denver and Memphis) with a record of 19 wins and 12 losses.
Jeremy Sochan scored 23 points for the Spurs as they remain bogged down in second-to-last place in the Western Conference.
In the other game played last night, the Utah Jazz beat the Washington Wizards 120-112, with 25 points by Malik Beasley and 23 by Jordan Clarkson.
So now the team from the capital, 12/o in the East, has collected the 11/th defeat in the last 12 games played.
