(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 26 - The Ukrainian government aims to hold a peace summit by the end of February, preferably at the United Nations with Secretary General António Guterres as a possible mediator, around the first anniversary of the invasion launched by Russia.
This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with the Associated Press.
When asked if they will invite Russia to the summit, Kuleba replied that first Moscow will have to accept being prosecuted for war crimes by an international court: "Only in this way can they be invited".
