Alexandros Kaili, the father of the former vice president of the European Parliament Eva Kaili detained in prison in Brussels for the Qatargate, was heard by the investigators and remains free.
This was reported by the Greek political lawyer, Mihalis Dimitrakopoulos, at the end of the interrogation.
In addition to Kaili senior, who at the outbreak of the scandal had been arrested with a suitcase full of cash and then released, his partner and Eva Kaili herself were also heard separately.
However, the companion of Greek politics, Francesco Giorgi, detained in the prison of Saint-Gilles, was not summoned.
