(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 11 - Boom in tax revenues in the period January-November 2022, with an increase of 44.539 billion euros compared to the same period of 2021 (+10.1%) to 486.016 billion.
An increase - explains the MEF - revenue is driven by the drag on of the positive effects on revenue that have been determined starting from 2021 and by the lack of extensions of the emergency decrees of past years.
But the credit also goes to inflation, in particular energy price increases: income from indirect taxes increased by 20.6 billion (+10.5%) driven by VAT, whose revenue increased by 20.924 billion (+16.5%) .
VAT on imports in particular recorded an increase of 7.167 billion (+52.1%) largely linked to the rise in oil prices.
