The Rappel Conso site reported on Friday the recall of "Viva Candia" brand milk cartons due to an organoleptic defect (taste, texture or smell).
The products concerned are the one-liter VIVA 1% fat "10 Vitamins" bricks, sold in packs of six and marketed since December 22, 2022 at Auchan, Intermarché, Francap, Leclerc or Proxy.
“No other Viva reference is concerned by this recall, nor any other batch and timestamp of the Viva x6”, wishes to reassure the government site.

Consumers reportedly traced back to the brand "an organoleptic defect (taste, texture or smell) which can be characterized by milk curdling when heated", according to the conso recall site which advises not to consume the milk in question and to report to point of sale.
Consumers will then be offered compensation in the form of a reduction voucher.
A telephone number has been set up to answer any questions from consumers: 09.87.87.00.50.
Candia brand baby milk bottles had been recalled due to a seal issue, which could lead to the introduction of bacteria into the product.
