(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 24 - Poland will ask the EU for compensation for the cost of the Leopard 2 tanks it wants to send to Ukraine.
"We will ask the European Union for reimbursement, it will be another test of good will," Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at a press conference, as reported by the Guardian.
Morawiecki added that he hoped there would be a quick response from Germany on whether Warsaw could re-export the tanks.
"I hope this response from Germany comes soon, because the Germans are delaying, dodging, acting in a way that is difficult to understand," he added.
