Road tight: An overturned trailer led to traffic delays

An overturned mobile chip stand caused a kilometer-long traffic jam on the Autobahn 44 in North Rhine-Westphalia.
A transporter with the French fries stand as a trailer near Geseke in the direction of Kassel got out of control due to strong crosswinds, the police in Bielefeld said.
The trailer overturned, the van turned sideways and the trailer and trailer blocked the entire lane.
A towing company was hired to salvage the vehicle.
The 50-year-old driver was not injured.
The traffic was therefore backed up for around seven kilometers.
The lane towards Kassel was closed for one and a half hours.
The police estimated the total damage at around 5,000 euros.
