Police operation in Milton Keynes

A four-year-old girl has been killed by a dog in England.
The incident is said to have taken place in a garden behind a house in the English town of Milton Keynes on Tuesday evening, police said.
"This is an absolutely tragic incident in which we believe a child has died after being attacked by a dog," a police spokesman said.
The child was therefore pronounced dead on the spot.
According to the police, no other people were affected.
There have been no arrests so far.
The dog was killed.
As the police added on Wednesday, the animal was the girl's family dog.
