With this note, the Ligurian club has made official the separation from the Veneto coach after 23 league games.
Gotti's streak of just one point in four league games and the recent draw by Empoli, which arrived in the final match after Spezia had found themselves leading by two goals and with numerical superiority at the end of the first half.
The first name for the replacement is that of Leonardo Semplici, who has been out since 2021 after having coached Cagliari.
Director General Eduardo Macia will seek an agreement with the
Tuscan coach in the next few days.
Fabrizio Lorieri will be on the bench against Juventus on Sunday.
