"In the last two years, the Guardia di Finanza has been at the forefront in combating massive fraud in the construction and energy bonus sector, bringing to light a large number of offenses".
This was stated by the general commander of the Guardia di Finanza, Giuseppe Zafarana, in a hearing before the Finance Commission of the Chamber, who underlined: "overall, at present, over 3.7 billion of non-existent tax credits have been seized, which, if they had not been subjected to a precautionary bond, they would have caused a loss of tax revenue of the same amount".
