(ANSA) - ROME, 07 APR - In view of the Easter holidays, the Viminale has prepared a security plan to intensify controls in places considered most at risk, including institutional or party sites, religious places, but also airports and railway stations.

Furthermore, particular attention is paid to monitoring the web and intercepting information on the organization of rave parties.

According to what has been learned, the police will also have to check the nightlife places, also through the use of inspections and reclamations.

Lastly, a particular focus on the protection of the Vatican offices and places of worship.


    In a circular from the Department of Public Security sent to all the prefects and quaestors, the emphasis is placed on the current international political scenario, with the war in Ukraine, but also on the ever-present terrorist threat and on the mobilization campaign of the anarchist galaxy in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito.


    All elements that have led the Department to order a strengthening of controls, inviting the prefects to convene the committees for order and safety for the definition of the line of intervention in view of the Easter holidays.
