A man who tried to rob a house in Mar del Plata during the early hours of Friday
is missing, after having thrown himself into the sea to escape from the police

The chase ended suddenly, when the offender headed towards the rocky area of Cabo Corrientes after having descended Gascón Street from a pike.
The policemen had been following him alerted by a 911 call from a neighbor who observed the suspect in his house.
In flight, he crossed the avenue, jumped over the wall of the waterfront and was lost in the sea.
Now
the Naval Prefecture is looking for him
, which has not yet been able to find him.
It happened at dawn on Friday in the Aristóbulo del Valle area at 2600. When the agents of the 9th police station arrived, the thief had escaped, but they soon saw him move on the roof of a neighboring house.
They started following him then.
It was 5 in the morning, the first light of day had not yet appeared.
On the way, the offender entered another house, managed to enter the kitchen and take a knife, but surrounded, he continued to escape.
The images of the persecution were registered in the cameras of the Municipal Monitoring Center and some of individuals.
