The Italian public debt continues its downward trend which will bring it to 131.9% of GDP in 2028. This is forecast by the International Monetary Fund, according to which the debt will drop this year to 140.3% from 144.7 % of 2022. (ANSA)
(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, APRIL 12 - The Italian public debt continues its downward trend which will bring it to 131.9% of GDP in 2028. This is predicted by the International Monetary Fund, according to which the debt will drop this year to 140.3 % from 144.7% in 2022. In 2025 the deficit will fall below 140%, to be exact at 138.5%.
