The comedian had been arrested on Wednesday after his wife denounced him for threats with the use of a weapon in the context of gender violence.

There was no threat. I am anguished
, when one suffers a disappointment it is not pleasant," he said in a brief dialogue with the press when he left the 11th police station, located in Luján de Cuyo, in the province of Mendoza, where he lives. like your partner.

It is that Verónica "Bambi" Macías, Garay's wife, denounced him for different episodes in the context of
gender violence, such as threats with firearms and sexual abuse

The complaint included violent situations that the woman located that happened in a hotel in Carlos Paz, in Córdoba.
Given this, this Wednesday at noon prosecutor Daniel Carniello
raided the family home
located on Calle 20 de Septiembre and arrested the comedian.
In the afternoon of that day,
the comedian was accused
of "use of a weapon in the context of gender violence and illegitimate possession of weapons for civilian use."
Police personnel working for the Gender Violence Fiscal Unit found
seven weapons
in the house : an iron machete 40 centimeters long, an ax with an iron blade, two shotguns, two rifles and a compressed gas pistol.
"I

including some rifles and shotguns, very, very old. But when they examined it, they imagined that they worked. I
don't know how to handle weapons
, but I have them as an ornament," Garay justified this Thursday, upon recovering his freedom.

The concrete thing is that the prosecutor verified that two of the weapons seized in the house were fit to be fired,
none had been registered
and Garay had not processed legal possession either.

Before his arrest, Garay shared a message on his social networks accompanied by a phrase that ponders talking about him.
"Thanks to the thousands of messages of support, and thank God because my truth keeps my conscience crystal clear," I post.
Along with the message, the humorist left a phrase that is attributed to the Catalan plastic artist Salvador Dalí.
