La7 has decided to suspend the production of the program "Non è l'Arena" which will not be on air from next Sunday.
This was announced by the broadcaster itself, which "thanks Massimo Giletti for the work carried out in these six years with passion and dedication".
Massimo Giletti remains at the company's disposal.
In recent weeks, rumors had spread about the possible passage of Massimo Giletti to Rai, to conduct a program from next season.
According to the rumors circulating on La7, it would have been precisely the contacts he had with public television that led to the break with Urbano Cairo's broadcaster.
Faced with the prospect of a relationship destined to end, in recent days the company would have decided to speed up the times, arriving at the decision to suspend the program.
It also seems - it is still being learned - that problems have arisen in relation to the costs and advertising revenues of the broadcast.
Giletti's passage to public television would be in line with the renewal of programming that the centre-right would like to implement starting from next season.
Rai's autumn programming will be presented in June and decisions are made in recent weeks.
Giletti's passage to Rai1 had recently been hypothesized, but according to other rumors the conductor could eventually land on the second network on Thursday evening, historically occupied by information talks.
