The eight-hour national strike, from 9.00 to 17.00, by Trenitalia personnel has ended.
Participation was "very high", an average of 80% in all Trenitalia companies (train crews, operations room operators, ticket office and assistance staff and offices), with peaks of 100% among workshop workers.
The unions report it.
The protest involved Frecce, Intercity and regional trains.
There were also some workers' garrisons: one in Milan Central Station and another in the square in front of the Bologna station.
