In a matter of weeks, Aerolineas Argentinas will be able to start operating flights to the United States, both to Miami and New York, from Aeroparque Metropolitano Jorge Newbery.
According to Clarín, the flag carrier awaits the approval of the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) to the order it made to start flying with A330 aircraft to the United States.
The authorization, which would not only be for Aerolineas Argentinas but for any airline that wants to start operating international flights with A330 from the Buenos Aires airport, would arrive between July and August of this year.
In turn, the authorization would also allow flights to European cities, but, as Clarín learned, today Aerolineas Argentinas only evaluates operating to the United States for commercial reasons. "It puts us in a more attractive situation both for the American who comes and the one who leaves," company sources confided.
Currently, Aerolineas Argentinas operates international flights from Aeroparque to all neighboring countries, Peru and Colombia.
