"I think that Confindustria has made a proposal of great national responsibility. 'We are a strategic asset, the government listens to us' "It is not up to us to judge governments, governments are judged by voters at the ballot box. We discuss the issues of industry and that serve the country. According to the words we have heard on several occasions and that I summarize in the famous phrases 'we do not want to disturb those who produce' and 'work is not created by decree'. I always say to all governments, if this is the attitude you have and want to help the industrial system, listen to it, because who better than an entrepreneur can say what the company needs. Because if the attitude is 'I make a measure and then it's your problem if it doesn't work' it's not good," Bonomi said. "I ask the government to listen to what Italian industry needs, an industry that has proven to be strong, better than our competitors in Europe and a strategic asset of the country. Three years ago the industry held on a country that would otherwise have been finished. Not for a corporate matter, but because it was our responsibility and our task, we do not want labels and medals, but that the country remember that we are a strategic asset.
