The police headquarters of Bergamo issued this morning 9 daspos against as many fans held responsible for repeated chants, with a background of racial discrimination, against Vlahovic, during the Atalanta-Juventus match played last May 7 in Bergamo. The bans on access to sporting events will prevent fans from entering sports facilities for a period ranging from 1 to 5 years.
"These were conducts of extreme social and moral disvalue that led to the unanimous condemnation of the event - explain the police headquarters -. The investigations made it possible to clearly identify the fans targeted by the measure through the vision of the images taken from the video surveillance system ".
For two fans, in addition to Daspo, there is also the request for the obligation to sign on the occasion of future Atalanta matches, as they were already responsible for violent acts during previous football matches and for this reason already sanctioned. Further investigations are underway to identify other fans who participated in the discriminatory chants.
