Photo London, it's just on the other side of the Channel, two and a quarter hours of Eurostar, common ancestors, an old Entente Cordiale that goes from hot to cold. And yet, it's another world.
Less than a week after the coronation of Charles III, the business city has resumed its intense activity, its bikes are speeding, black and shiny taxis bypass traffic jams and make their customers wait with their unexportable humor.
It rains, but it does not affect anyone, as during the passage of the royal carriage last Saturday or the Coronation weekend where there are still sandwiches at the station of Saint-Pancras, but no more stamped "mugs". On Thursday, for the opening to the public of the 8th edition of Photo London, the queue of visitors was long at Somerset House, happy and patient, under the sudden sleet of May.
