On the eve of the Great Depression, another generation of the Dutton family fights for both family property and their own lives in the third series of the Yellowstone universe, which is once again star-studded - since the weekend on Paramount+, now also available in this country.
In "1923", the Dutton ranch in Montana belongs to the gnarled Jacob Dutton (Harrison Ford, "Star Wars", "Indiana Jones") and his tough and warm-hearted wife Cara (Helen Mirren, "The Queen"). Adopted son/nephew Spencer (Brandon Sklenar, "Westworld") has retreated to Africa with the trauma he suffered in World War I, where he lives as a big game hunter.
In crisis-ridden times when religious fanatics are crying out for the extension of Prohibition, Jacob Dutton must deal with the effects of a plague of locusts that destroyed large areas of pastureland. This leads to an imminent territorial conflict with large shepherds also living in the area under the leadership of the Banner Creighton (Jerome Flynn, "Ripper Street"), who is determined to do anything. He wants to let his sheep graze on the land intended for the cattle, which would make it unusable for the livestock.
