The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced today (Friday) that the southern Swedish city of Malmö has been chosen to host the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest to be held in May 2024 for the 68th time.
Sweden's public broadcaster, SVT, will lead the international song contest following Lorin's win in Liverpool earlier this year with Tattoo. Lorin was the first woman to win the Eurovision Song Contest twice.

Malmö was chosen to host the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest after a lengthy process that examined the city's facilities and infrastructure and their ability to accommodate thousands of delegations of visitors, teams, fans and journalists.
