"In the baseline scenario of our forecast framework," Italy's gross domestic product "would increase by 0.7% this year, 0.8% in 2024 and 1% in 2025." This is what the Bank of Italy estimates in its latest economic bulletin, while in July the forecast was 1.3% for this year, 0.9% for 2024 and 1% confirmed for 2025.
"Growth would be affected by the tightening of financing conditions and the weakness of international trade" while "it would benefit from the effects of the PNR measures and the gradual recovery of household purchasing power", explains Bankitalia.
In Nadef, growth is estimated at +0.8% in 2023 and +1.2% in 2024.
