The sadness does not end, the names of the dead and fallen continue to pile up and funerals sweep the entire country, where Israeli artists also stand alongside the families, singing in a trembling and strangled voice the songs loved so much by those whose lives were cut short by the deadly war.
At the funeral today (Sunday), where Aviv Baram was buried, Ivri Leader sang and eulogized his stage manager for the past decade, and Hanan Ben Ari for the past two months. Both Leader and Ben Ari appeared at the funeral at the Sarigim cemetery.
Ivri Leader at Aviv Baram's funeral
Aviv Baram fell on the first day of the war defending Kibbutz Kfar Azza, where he lived. He was a soldier in the kibbutz's alert squad and was one of the first to go out and defend the kibbutz residents. He left behind his wife Heli and two sons Omer and Rani, his brother Uri and his parents Ofer and Hanita. May his memory be blessed.
