Chinese stock exchanges open the session in negative territory in the wake of the strengthening of adeflation, based on November reports released on Saturday: the Shanghai Composite index gives up 0.45 percent in the early stages, to 2,956.29 points, while the Shenzhen index loses 0.51 percent, settling at 1,838.43.
Consumer prices contracted by 0.5% year-on-year last month (from -0.2% in October), while producer prices, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, fell by 3% year-on-year, much more than -2.6% in October.
