The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the first session of the week higher, supported by the consolidation of stock indices on Wall Street, while the strengthening phase of the yen against major currencies comes to a halt. At the open, the benchmark Nikkei advanced 1.06 percent to 32,650.41, adding 342 points. On the foreign exchange front, the Japanese currency retreats from its 4-month highs against the dollar, just below a level of 145, and trades against the euro at 156.10
