"The motive is unlikely" and "my client rejected the accusation of having murdered his brother-in-law" in the interrogation following the confirmed provision.
This was reported by the lawyer Katia Doctor Giachino who defends Daniele Maiorino, the man arrested by the Pistoia prosecutor's office for the murder of his brother-in-law Alessio Cini, 57, in front of the house in Agliana.
"The cameras record Cini catching fire but we don't see anyone approaching the victim," she adds.
The suspect denied the monologue picked up by the 'bugs' in the car.
"He doesn't say 'I killed him' - she adds - but the exact opposite 'They killed him'".
"We heard the audio provided by the prosecutor's office and the words, due to the background noise, are not clear - explains Maiorino's defender, lawyer Katia Doctor Giachino - My client would not have said "I killed him", as the prosecutor's office accuses him of , but the exact opposite: "They killed him".
And the motive for the murder, which the investigators in the arrest attribute to the receipt of the advantages of the inheritance, for the defender "is far-fetched".
