Festival calls for freedom of movement for Moghaddam and Sanaeeha (ANSA)


The Tehran authorities have taken away the passports of a couple of Iranian directors and writers with a film in competition at the Berlin Film Festival (15-25 February), imposing legal proceedings: the Berlinale itself denounces this and, in a statement, declares " shocked and dismayed" and requests that Maryam Moghaddam and her partner Behtash Sanaeeha be allowed to be present at the festival to present the film Keyke mahboobe man (My Favorite Cake).
