The Tehran authorities have taken away the passport of a couple of Iranian directors and writers with a film in competition at the Berlin festival (15-25 February) and have imposed legal proceedings: the Berlinale itself reports this and, in a statement, declares itself "shocked and dismayed". and requests that Maryam Moghaddam and her partner Behtash Sanaeeha be allowed to be present at the festival to present the film Keyke mahboobe man (My FavouriteCake).
