A violent accident occurred in Mittenwald. The damage is 10,000 euros. Two Ammertals had to be brought to the hospital.
Mittenwald - Two young Ammertals suffered minor injuries in a traffic accident in Mittenwald on Monday evening. The accident happened at 9 p.m. on Lautersee-Strasse. There the Oberammergau (18) headed up with his 19-year-old companion. About 100 meters before the departure to the lake they got off the road by car. Then the car crashed head-on into a tree and came to rest on the roof.
Both inmates had to be brought to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen hospital. The car - property damage of around 10,000 euros - was towed away. The fire brigade helped with 15 forces in the rescue. The man behind the wheel said that he had avoided an animal and therefore drifted away. "The lane indicates a very high speed," said a police spokesman. The officers could not find any evidence of animals in the snow. "Alcohol wasn't involved."
