Yuexiu's Dongyuan Street Yuexiu Cold Storage Warehouse and adjacent land, applied to the Town Planning Board for an additional 337 units in August last year, providing a total of 1,393 units, while the average area of the units has been reduced by 108 square feet.
The Planning Department expressed no objection to the above application and it is expected that the plan will be approved by the Town Planning Board on Friday (28th).
According to data, Yuexiu applied to the Town Planning Board for the reconstruction and development of 1,056 units in 2018.
However, in August last year, a revised development plan was provided and 1,393 units were planned to be built.
The average size of the project unit has also been reduced from 506 square feet in the original plan to 398 square feet, a decrease of about 21%.
The above-mentioned project has a site area of approximately 131,991 square feet, involving four 29-storey and one 23-storey residential buildings, with a total residential floor area of approximately 658,102 square feet.
