Jean-Clause Killy

about a duel for the overall victory between
Alexis Pinturault

first race of the season, the

He took the lead in February 2020, but about two weeks later Pinturault was back at the top.
In March the two swapped their ranks again.
Shortly afterwards, the FIS had to cancel the season due to the
corona pandemic
and the French
ski racer
was unable to regain his leadership position.
He stayed in second place overall.
Nevertheless, Pinturault could no longer take his six victories of the season.
He achieved two of these
first placings
in the
combination
and was thus able to win the corresponding discipline ranking for the sixth time.
With that he broke another record.
