The busiest time of the year for Guillaume, ski instructor, is right now, with the four weeks of school holidays in a row in February.
“We can do up to sixty hours a week,” he explains, “there are so many people, everything is already booked.”
At 29 years old, Guillaume is not in his first busy season.
This mountain enthusiast has been a teacher at the French ski school (ESF) for almost ten years, “I started at 18 when I got my first teaching diplomas,” he relates.
A craze that doesn't come out of nowhere.
Guillaume was born and raised in a town in the Alps, where skiing is one of the familiar activities.
“I was at the ski club all my youth, like 85-90% of the other instructors.
We are already in this environment and often we end up in the ski school where we were trained.”
