(ANSA) - MILAN, DECEMBER 13 - A 40-year-old Romanian woman found a door containing 4 thousand euros in a bar in the northern area of Milan and returned it to the police.
The woman, yesterday afternoon, noticed the abandoned wallet next to a shelf and collected it, discovering with her great surprise that it contained 4 thousand euros, documents and credit cards. The 40-year-old had no doubts, she presented herself at the police station of Villa San Giovanni and gave him agents who soon traced the legitimate owner. The man, a 45-year-old who was distraught and convinced he had no hope of getting his money back, said he was incredulous and explained that the cash was his job savings.
