(ANSAmed) - BEIRUT, DECEMBER 23 - A proxywar is underway in Libya, a proxy war, with a strong risk for the presence of "terrorist cells". This was said by Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio when he met journalists in southern Lebanon, where he met the Italian soldiers involved in the UN mission close to the Blue Line of demarcation with Israel. "The pattern is similar to that of the war in neighboring Syria," said Di Maio. "And here (in Libya) the issue is not so much the risk of refugees, but that linked to terrorism, and the risk of terrorist cells".
