(ANSA) - UDINE, JAN 09 - A 10-year-old boy of Croatian origin, on vacation with a group of compatriots in KraniskaGora (Slovenia), was transported this morning by helicopter to the hospital in Udine after falling while skiing on a Sella pistadi Nevea (Udine) and having accused an illness.
The accident occurred around 12 on the Gilberti blue slope at 1800 meters above sea level. The minor was skiing together with a teacher when he lost control of the skis and fell. After the fall, the boy and the teacher went to the Gilberti refuge where the minor accused the illness.
On the spot, the policemen of the emergency and mountain safety service intervened who, given the symptoms of the child and a suspected head injury, immobilized him while waiting for the arrival of the medical helicopter. The minor was then transferred to the hospital in Udine. (ANSA).
