Spices in "Next Star for Eurovision"
Since Maya Buskila's injury to "The Next Star for the Eurovision Song Contest," she has been on a special slot program for "Chapter Two artists." Some have been active on the stages for a long time, some even put hits on Israeli radio playlists.
This season, it's about the dawn of Nahari and Lior Levi, the spice band, who already knew successful singles ("I'm tired of you") and fieldwork of 20 years, and suddenly at the age of 38 and 42 found themselves in prime time. Just after being ousted from the show, band members are releasing a new single: "Another Silence."
"There were a couple of good years asking me to participate in the program, and I said I didn't want to come alone, just with the band," Nahari says. "At some point, Yoav Tzafir asked to meet with us. He said the program could be a bounce for us. When we chose the song for the audition, he heard some of our songs and said 'I know them and I didn't know it was yours.'
You competed in a program with teenagers. Wasn't that weird?
"We said, 'Let's put the ego aside and go for it.' I have to say it was not strange. There is a camaraderie and friendships that are created. We are 30-plus and 40-plus and we can visit the younger ones because we have gone through something. Some have told us' We grew up on you, we knew you. "Some of them wanted to sing our songs, which is cool. It was very nice and I died for these young people, they really are wow. I so appreciate that at their age they are in this tension."
Do you have a bet on the winner of the program?
"Wow. The 'kids' - Or (Amrami), Lely (Kulishkin) and Ella Lee (Blade) are amazing. I don't think I could be like them at 16, hope they can keep this thing on their shoulders. And Moran Aharoni is a singer too. This is my quartet for the finals. "

In their re-exposure, the band members, of course, intend to use ignition, though they never really stopped working. They are planning a new winter summer tour with new materials as well. The first of these, as mentioned, is released today.
The way the song "Another Silence" was created is fun, according to Nahari. "Photo days of 'The Star' can reach 16-18 hours. One day we were unexpectedly notified at 2am that we were being released. So we went to a restaurant in Jerusalem, where we came up with an idea to talk to Avi Ohayon (who wrote" The Road of Peace ", Among others - according to). He called us to the studio and within three hours we left with a new song, including text, melody and production. All this exposure and paragon got us full of sails. "
Would you say you come to this round more sober?
"Sure, we are much more sober because we have been working in the industry for 20 years. I run the theater club, Lior has a composition of events. We understand financial conduct. We have dreams, without dreams we cannot exist. Faith exists. Failures will always be. We are the face of success. "
