(ANSA) - PADUA, MARCH 5 - The new buffer tests that will be used to develop an epidemiological study on the virus will begin tomorrow on the 3,300 inhabitants of Vo ', the municipality of the first Italian victim of the Coronavirus. Scientific research, proposed by the University of Padua with the help of the Veneto Region and the Red Cross, "provides that all buffers will be redone from tomorrow" announced the mayor, Giuliano Martini, speaking to his fellow citizens. The collected data will be used to evaluate the evolution of the virus. "Vo 'is currently the only municipality - says the mayor - where this research can be carried out which will have national and international value". Up to 1,000 tests per day will be performed, which should end on Sunday at this rate. Also in this case, the outpatient clinic obtained after the emergency will be used in the premises of the town's schools. For some days now, the number of infected people in Vo 'has been almost stopped, and amounts to 90 cases.
