This Friday, April 17, Jérôme Salomon announced the death of 418 new people in the hospital as a result of the Coronavirus.
In establishments such as nursing homes, an additional 343 deaths have been reported. These are, according to the announcements of the Director General of Health, 761 additional deaths that are to be counted in the country during the last 24 hours.
In total, since March 1, 18,681 people have died in France from the Covid-19 and 31,190 people are still hospitalized for treatment.
