In detail, the Regional Health Department deplores 13,547 deaths in hospitals and 8,309 deaths in medico-social establishments, many of which occurred in nursing homes.
The pressure on hospitals continues to ease. A total of 29,219 people with Covid-19 are still hospitalized in more than a thousand establishments in France.
42,088 people healed left the hospital
The number of patients present in the intensive care units also continues to decrease, with a negative balance of 165, and a total of 5,053 patients in serious situation.
Public Health France counts 120,804 cases of contamination throughout the territory. At least 42,088 patients are cured. This figure does not, however, include the healings of people who are not hospitalized, which are also numerous.
